Hey Panda Family,
LETRS/Mental Health Trainings Coverage: In an effort to help provide certified staff with some extra time to complete the required district/state trainings we are going to offer Ms. Lloyd's assistance again for the spring semester. All certified teachers that have to complete LETRS/Mental Health Trainings may sign up for one 1/2 day on Ms. Lloyd's schedule to work on their coursework. This is how it will work:
- Pull up Ms. Lloyd's schedule here - Ms. Lloyd's Schedule
- Pick one 1/2 day that is available between now and the end of school
- Write your name and Trainings in the box - i.e. "Cox Trainings"
- Ms. Lloyd will cover your class for the 1/2 day that you sign up
- On your day, you will stay on campus and find a quiet space to work on your coursework
- Teacher workroom, Teacher lounge, etc.
- If a Covid/Emergency Sub situation occurs and Ms. Lloyd must cancel, you will be able to pick another date and time
- This is optional, and is not required
MTSS Grade Level Meetings: We will not have scheduled PLTs this week (you will still have PLT coverage). Instead, all grade levels will have a scheduled time to meet with Ms. Balint, our MTSS Coordinator, to update and review plans. These MTSS grade level meetings will occur on Tuesday, March 8th during your Specials time. Here is the schedule:

- 9:45 a.m.: a Tornado WARNING will be announced. The Tornado Drill will start with this announcement. Warnings are called when a tornado has been sighted nearby. Accordingly, once the warning has been announced, employees are to move immediately to the nearest Tornado Shelter Areas designated for your school. For the purpose of this drill, employees will be asked to stay in the tornado Shelter Areas for five (5) minutes.
