One more week and 1st Quarter will be in the books! Everyone has worked so hard to get 1% better each day since the beginning of school. Lots of fun moments this past week with our Fall Festival and first field trips of the year! Celebrate your students and celebrate yourself. I'm proud of all we have accomplished as we near the conclusion of the first nine weeks. Thanks for all you do for our school community! Have a wonderful weekend 💚🐼

Fire Drill: Fire drill on Monday, October 7 @ 2:15.
EC Inclusive Meetings: Our next EC Inclusive Meeting date is next Tuesday, October 8. If you are a certified staff member, you must attend one of these monthly meetings. Classified staff may attend, but it is optional. This month's meeting will be this upcoming Tuesday, October 8. The meeting will last roughly 35-40 minutes and will be held in the Media Center. Please select the meeting time that best fits your schedule. Here are the meeting times (you only need to attend one):

Lunch Schedule: We need your help! Please note that you should be lined up by the end of your scheduled lunch time, not beginning to clean up at that time. For example, if your lunch time is 12:30-1:00, you should start cleaning up at 12:55 so the next class can sit down at 1:00.
Morning Mile Interest Form: The Wellness Committee is trying to bring back morning mile! Please complete the form with your availability to supervise/support morning mile. If you are not interested or are unable to help, you do not need to complete this form. We are currently working on a schedule, but this will be based on staff/volunteer availability. Thank you! Ellie Mental Health (from Ms. Ceglowski): I want to share some great news! Ellie Mental Health has been assigned to Piney Grove for Outpatient Mental Health services for our students. Our assigned therapist is Monteous Cheely and he is pictured below. Please welcome him to our site! He will likely be here on Tuesdays and be in Benita's office.

Specializing in systems thinking, I offer expertise helping individuals, couples, families, and groups recover from the multiple systems that inform, influence and impact our lives. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with empathy and cultural sensitivity. I work collaboratively with clients to navigate challenges such as communication issues, infidelity recovery, and parenting conflicts. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to support clients in moving towards to help them feel safe and heal. I welcome the opportunity to work with diverse client populations seeking to strengthen connections and achieve personal growth.
Updates from Last Week
Student Pictures: Thank you to those homeroom teachers who have already turned in their student pictures to me. We have started hanging them up in our PLT Conference room 😊 As a reminder, we would like all homeroom teachers to take individual photos of your students and make two sets of copies. You will keep one set and decorate your door, hang their photos above their bookbag hook, etc. You will turn in the other set to me for the PLT Conference room. Photos of our students throughout the building make it feel more like home and a welcoming environment. We will reimburse you for your photos. Please just turn in the receipt to Mrs. Owens. Thanks so much for your help with this!

Mclass Progress Monitoring: I am beginning to check that all K-5 teachers have started progress monitoring their students in Mclass. Please make sure this is part of your weekly routine.
