Week of 9/8 - 9/12

Hey Panda Family,

Next week is going to look different. Some will take on new roles and some will assume new responsibilities. Y'all have handled this whole process so professionally and I only expect that to continue. Thank you for your dedication, your support for one another, and your tremendous work ethic. We will reset on Monday and continue to do great things. Thanks for all you do! Have a great weekend.

Here are the Weekly Wrap updates for this week:

New Updates

Staffing Updates: The Reduction in Force and the Reconciliation process has ended. Here is a summary of the final outcomes:
  • Ms. Biance was assigned to a 2nd Grade Teacher position at Sedge Garden Elementary
  • Mr. Collins was assigned to an EC TA position at Kimmel Farm Elementary
  • Ms. Lloyd will be the long-term sub for Ms. Charles during her maternity leave. Ms. Lloyd is graciously going to continue to volunteer to run our Book Fair in the fall
  • Ms. Gardner will be split between Piney Grove & Caleb's Creek. Beginning the week of 9/22, Ms. Gardner's consistent schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and alternating Fridays with us. Here is her schedule as of right now - Gardner's Schedule
  • Ms. Landreth's hours will be 9:00 - 3:30 each day. Ms. Landreth is graciously going to volunteer hours each day to help keep the front desk running smoothly.
This has been a very difficult month to start the school year. I greatly miss our staff that was impacted over the summer and we are certainly going to miss our staff that will be at new schools next week. I know you will do great things at your new schools.

September 15: We will have a short staff meeting on Monday morning @ 8:00 in the Media Center. I want to review all schedule changes, duty assignments, and address any questions that are still lingering. After this meeting the remainder of the day will be a workday. • Good of the Order

iReady & Mclass Student Reports: Please make sure to share student Mclass BOY & iReady BOY results with your parents. You can send them to Ms. Owens or Mr. Elkins to print in color, or you can send them to the parents electronically. This would be a great task to work on during Monday's workday.
