SEL Lessons: Please make sure you are incorporating SEL lessons into your weekly plans. I don't care if you use Second Step, Flocabulary, or other resources for your lessons, but please make sure this is a consistent part of your Morning Meetings each week. Thank you!
Day of the Dead Altar (from Ms. Pereda): It's that time of year again. The Day of the Dead altar is in the Media Center. Please feel welcome to add a picture of a loved one that has passed to join my groups in our celebration. The altar will stay on display throughout next week as well since Day of the Dead occurs on the weekend this year. My groups are working on a special addition this year that will hopefully be ready on Monday; be on the lookout!

Good Citizens (from Ms. Ceglowski): Please add your October Good Citizen exemplifying Kindness by Wednesday, November 5th. We will call them to the Media Center Thursday, November 6th. Go Far (from Ms. Fox): GoFar is over! Please dismiss your students back to normal on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will pick back up GoFar run club in the spring!
HB 805: A new state law has been passed that now requires us to catalog our classroom libraries and provide these lists to parents if they ask. There is nothing you need to do at this moment. MTAC and Ms. Epperley are making a plan to make this process as painless as possible. I just wanted to make you aware that this was coming. Mr. Rick Visitation: The visitation for Mr. Rick will be Saturday, November 1 from 12:00 - 1:00 at Hooper Funeral Home in Winston-Salem. Hooper Funeral Home is located at 1415 E. 14th Street.

Paw Form Consequences: Here is the list of acceptable and unacceptable classroom consequences if a student gets a Paw Form. We will continue to add to this list, and I will be communicating these changes to parents soon. Here is the list: Paw Form Consequences
EVAAS Teacher Reports: EVAAS Teacher reports are now available. You can access your report via NC Ed Cloud and then to EVAAS. We will review these reports in more detail during PLTs in the coming weeks.
Gardner's Schedule: Next week Ms. Gardner is on campus Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! Fridays in November and December will be split between schools. CCES- AM PGE- PM. The exceptions are November 7 and December 5. Ms. Gardner will go to CCES after the AP meeting. Here is her full schedule for November & December: November & December
PTA Reimbursement Link: Don't forget, every teacher gets $100 from PTA to go towards your classroom and your students. You will buy the items and then get reimbursed from PTA.
