Inclement Weather: If we have any inclement weather this weekend I will be sure to let you know of any closures or delays as soon as I get word from the district. Please be safe and stay warm!
Class Pictures: Class Pictures are scheduled for next Tuesday, January 27 on the stage. Here is the schedule: Class Picture Schedule
Red Rover: Red Rover goes live for all staff on February 2. Here is a link to the directions: Red Rover Training. If you need any help or assistance please see Ms. Owens.
Mid-Year PDPs: Mid-year PDPs are due soon. If you have a grade level goal with your teammates we will complete your PDP in PLTs. If you have an individual goal, Ms. Gardner or Mr. Elkins will be reaching out to schedule a time to meet with you to review.
Staff Intent Form: I am beginning to start my planning processes for next school year. If you could please fill out this intent form for me by February 6. This information allows me to accurately plan once I receive my allotment from Human Resources. If you have any questions, or you want to meet with me individually, please don't hesitate to reach out. Here are the forms:
Mclass MOY Window: The Mclass MOY window closes on January 28.
Mclass Progress Monitoring: Progress monitoring will be paused in January during MOY testing. Here is the link to the progress monitoring calendar: Mclass Progress Monitoring Schedule.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Thank you to all classroom teachers for working hard on your parent/teacher conferences over the past few months! If you have any parents that you were not able to meet with, please make sure you send them their child's MOY results electronically through Dojo. Thanks so much for your help with this!
Baby Honeycutt: Congratulations to the Honeycutts! Grace Emilia Honeycutt was born this week weighing in at 7lbs. 12 oz. Mom and baby are doing great!

Gardner's January Schedule: Gardner's schedule for January - HERE
HB 805: A new state law has been passed that now requires us to catalog our classroom libraries and provide these lists to parents if they ask. Here is the information principals received - House Bill 805. MTAC has shared some very easy steps to accomplish this task. I know this is not ideal, and somewhat of a hassle, but we have to do it (sorry). We will discuss it more in PLTs if you have questions. Here is a link to the directions if you want to go ahead and knock it out - Catalog Your Classroom Library. If you would like a volunteer to help catalog your classroom library for you please complete this form - Request for a Volunteer to help catalog. All cataloging must be completed by 2/2/2026.
Paw Form Consequences: Here is the list of acceptable and unacceptable classroom consequences if a student gets a Paw Form. We will continue to add to this list, and I will be communicating these changes to parents soon. Here is the list: Paw Form Consequences
PTA Reimbursement Link: Don't forget, every teacher gets $100 from PTA to go towards your classroom and your students. You will buy the items and then get reimbursed from PTA.
