Thanks!

Movie Incentive (June 7): All students & staff will be headed to the movies next Friday, June 7! We will be sending information out to all parents next week to let them know. All students will be watching the new Garfield movie. Students will be allowed to bring money for drinks/snacks. We will be reaching out to select staff members next week that will have assigned roles to help at the movie theater. In the meantime, please see the attached schedule so you know when your grade will be leaving for the movies. The schedule is attached here - Movie Schedule - June 7
End-of-Year Checklists: Your end-of-year checklist is in your box. There is also an electronic copy linked here - PGE End-of-Year Checklist. You do not need to turn this in before you leave for summer, but please make sure everything is completed. The district is requiring Certified Staff to complete an end-of-year checklist survey before they leave for the summer. All Certified Staff must complete this before leaving for summer break. The link to the survey is here - WS/FCS End-of-Year Checklist Survey
Student Medication (from Nurse Caroline): My name is Caroline Dillard, I am a school nurse and I have taken over for Rebecca Pearman while she is out on leave. I want to make all teachers aware that letters have been sent home to all of the students who have medications at school. If you have medications for students in your classrooms, please make sure they are available for parents to come pick up during the last week of school. If medications have not been picked up by the last day of school, please let me know and I will call parents as a final reminder. My email is cmdillard@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.
4th Quarter Grades: Please make sure you get your final grades for the quarter in your gradebook. Report cards are due to Ms. True by June 12.
August 5th: We will have our opening staff meeting for next school year on Monday, August 5 @ 8:00. Please mark your calendar.
August 1st & 2nd: August 1st & 2nd are the first Teacher Workdays for next school year. If you will be out on either of these days, please make sure you complete a white leave sheet and turn it in to Ms. Owens. Thank you!
Supply List: To offset some of our costs next school year we will be adding copy paper and Band-Aids to the back-to-school supply list. If your grade level needs to make adjustments to the supply list, please discuss and let your grade level SIT rep know. The grade level SIT reps have editing rights to the supply list document. The document for next year can be found here - 2024-2025 PGE Supply List
