Hey Panda Family,
9 days left for this school year! Although it feels like yesterday, at the beginning of the year we discussed our word of the year: Impact. What impact would we make on our students? What impact would we make on our colleagues? What impact would we make on our school community? Would your impact be positive or negative? As we hold end of year meetings with staff, as we look at growth data in reading and math, as we reflect on the relationships made - I think it is safe to say we have made quite the positive impact on our students, each other, and our school this year! Even though we may not always see the lasting impact, we do get glimpses such as the graduation walk this past week. Dig deep these last two weeks. Let's set a positive tone for EOG week and finish this year strong. Proud of y'all! Enjoy your long weekend! 😊

EOG Schedule: Please refer to the information below regarding the schedule for EOG days.
Here are the testing schedules for the EOGs:
- Wednesday, May 29th - Reading EOG - 3rd , 4th and 5th EOG Reading 5/29
- Friday, May 31st - Math EOG - 3rd, 4th and 5th EOG Math 5/31
- Monday, June 3rd - Science EOG - 5th and Read to Achieve - 3rd (and Make Ups) EOG Science and RTA 6/3
Things to Note:
- No outdoor recess on 5/29, 5/31, and 6/3
- No Specials on 5/29 and 5/31
- Please start as soon as you can (as close to 8:30)
- Test Administrators will stay with their testing group after testing until we tell you we are finished.
- We will be doing make ups every day after testing starts.
- Schedules may change
- Testing Central is in the Media Center. You may pick up your bins starting at 7:30am.

EOG Rooms: If your room is being used for EOG testing, please make sure all academic material on the walls is covered up or taken down. If you need any help please let me know.
Blocked Days: Just a reminder that we will need all hands on deck for EOG testing from May 28 - June 7. Please understand I will not be approving any leave for these days. Please refrain from scheduling any appointments or personal days during this time frame. If you become ill during this time we will definitely work around this, but we want to avoid any preplanned absences during testing. Thanks for understanding.
Awards Ceremonies: This is a friendly reminder to make sure that all our students are celebrated on awards days. This is a day to celebrate accomplishments and growth - which all our students have made. Thanks!
New Chromebook Plan (from Ms. Epperley): The technology department has decided to work with the K-2 Chromebooks in the classroom this summer. K-2 may leave them in a prominent place to be reassigned. Please only send 3-5 Chromebooks to the media center. Please reach out to Ms. Epperley if you have any questions. Thanks!
PLTs: Thank you to all our specialists, instructional assistants, and other staff members who helped supervise our students while we held PLT meetings! Thank you to all our teachers for working so hard during PLTs this school year! We are done with PLT meetings for the year.
MTSS & ELP Groups: All groups with Ms. Kaye Edwards, Ms. Christopher, and Ms. Hardin are officially done for the year.

iReady & Mclass Reports: Before the end of the year, please make sure you send home iReady Diagnostic Reports (K-5) & Mclass Reports (K-3) to your families. We want all of our parents to know how their child did on these assessments. You can send them home electronically through Dojo messages or you can print them in color using the Toshiba in the front office. Thanks!
