15 days to go! I am so proud of our K-2 students who have done amazing on their Mclass testing this week 😊 You are giving our students one of the most powerful gifts ever - the ability to read! We will continue to review and prepare for EOGs in grades 3rd-5th next week, but the most important thing we will do next week is celebrate YOU! Next week is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week 🎉 We have partnered with PTA to make sure you feel the love all next week! You deserve it! Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to our school. I am so blessed to work alongside each one of you everyday 🐼

New Updates
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week: We are super excited to celebrate all our staff and teachers next week! There will be lots of goodies and prizes to show our appreciation. Here is a graphic of the events.

Staff Dinner (from SCC): We will be having our Staff End of Year Celebration/Dinner on Monday, May 19th at 6:00pm. The event will be held at Gypsy Road Brewing Company, located at 1105 East Mountain St. in Kernersville. Fireball Wood Fired Pizza will be catering the event. There will be several types of pizzas to choose from, including vegetarian options.
The cost of the meal including tax and gratuity comes to $20.00 per person. The price is covered for all members of SCC. If you have not joined SCC the cost is the full $20. (If you cannot recall if you have joined SCC, we will be happy to let you know).
Spouses/Significant others are welcome. Their cost will be $20.00.
Please give your money to Deanna Mabe or Jennifer Mathis by Friday, May 9th.
Please complete the form if you are planning to attend by Friday, May 9th, so we can provide the caterer our headcount.
iReady Math Results: Awesome job to all our teachers and students for the amazing iReady Math growth and proficiency! Overall, our school had 107% growth in Math & 76% of our students are performing at or above grade level in Math according to iReady! Shoutout to the Top 10 classes based off growth:

Fire Drill: We will have our final fire drill towards the end of next week. It will be unannounced.
PLTs May 5-9: Next week is the last week of PLT meetings and coverage. Thank you to all our specialists, instructional assistants, and other staff members who helped supervise our students while we held PLT meetings! Thank you to all our teachers for working so hard during PLTs this school year!
Tier 2 MTSS & ESL Groups: May 5-9 is the last week for Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Pereda's groups. They both will be helping with testing the last 10 days of school.
Tier 3 MTSS: Mrs. Barnes is done meeting with her students. We will review and close out all plans the week of May 5-9 during PLTs.

Go Far (from Ms. Fox): Spring GoFar run club is over for the season. GoFar students can be dismissed back to normal for Mondays and Wednesdays. Also, Monday morning (5/5) an all call will be made for all students that participated in the race and/or GoFar practices to report to the front lobby to take a picture in our shirts and medals.

Shoutouts 🎉: From Ms. Vaden - I'd like to give a shoutout to Deana for all the work she put in to make PBIS's Panda Personalization a huge success! She ordered, organized, and cut out more vinyl than she ever expected to in her life! This project wouldn't have been completed so seamlessly or quickly without her. PBIS is also grateful for all the staff and parent volunteers who helped applying vinyl to items and delivering them to classrooms.

Testing Updates (from Mrs. Lloyd): As discussed in the staff meeting here is the calendar for the last 10 days of school : Last 10 Days of School

Remember for NC TEST Admin, you will need to do the 2 Factor MFA with your phone. PLEASE write down your log on and password on a sticky and keep in a safe place to use for testing.
MTSS Plans Tier 2 and Tier 3: Please see the MTSS updates highlighted below.
- ECATS will not house MTSS plans for the 25-26 school year
- We will not hold parent meetings for this last round
- Teachers will communicate with parents after we hold the meetings
- May 5-9 - close out plans and discuss student needs for next year
- Tier 2 meetings will be held during PLT's

EOG Days: There will be no Specials on May 13 & May 15 due to EOG testing. We will also be using the majority (if not all) of our Instructional Assistants to help with proctoring on these days. I wanted to let everyone know now so you can properly prepare.
PBIS Events for the Remainder of the Year: The chances for the students to spend their Paw bucks are winding down. Below is a list of the ways students can spend their money in the last 34 days of school.

Continue to be positive, monitor the students, and hand out bucks when the students earn them.
